Trim Levels (Exterior)

The Mercedes-Benz GLE Class gives you five trim levels to choose from: GLE 350, GLE 450, GLE 580, AMG GLE 53, and AMG GLE 63 S. All trim levels come in the standard all-wheel drive, but the GLE 350 is available in rear-wheel drive. All levels come packaged with LED headlights, power liftgates, and sunroofs. The GLE 350 and the GLE 450 come with 19-inch wheels, while the GLE 580 comes with 20-inch wheels and adaptive air suspension for adjusting the vehicle's height. The AMG GLE 53 also features 20-inch wheels and the sporty AMG exterior, which is known for its signature diamond grill and chrome accents.

Moving up, the AMG GLE 63 S sports 21-inch wheels, electronic limited slip-differential, which is handy for enhancing traction when driving on unpredictable terrain, and adaptive headlights that coordinate with the steering wheel for ultimate illumination, even around curves.

Engine (Power)

For a mid-sized SUV, the Mercedes-Benz GLE is powerful. The GLE 350 has a sleek turbocharged four-cylinder engine that cranks out a solid 255 horsepower. The GLE 450 is upgraded to a turbocharged six-cylinder with 362 hp for more thrilling acceleration.

Going down the GLE lineup, the engine power revs up with the turbocharged V-8 and a whopping 483 horsepowewr from the GLE 580. The heat is turned up with the AMG GLE 53 turbocharged six-cylinder that churns out a powerful 429 horsepower. The AMG GLE 63 S has a turbocharged V-8 engine that generates an unbelievable 603 horsepower. The AMG GLE 63 S is one of the fastest mid-sized SUVs on the market.

Performance

The GLE 350 has an acceleration rate of 0 to 60 in 7.1 seconds. The GLE 450 has a more impressive acceleration rate of 0 to 60 in 3 seconds, which is comparable to the fastest acceleration of SUVs on the market. Mercedes has perfected its efficiency with Airmatic air suspension and E-Active Body Control that gives their cars the ability to monitor road conditions and adjust its suspension accordingly, giving you one of the smoothest rides from a mid-sized SUV.

Interior

The Mercedes-Benz GLE has 33.3 cubic feet of cargo space. The second row has the ability to fold down, which will increase your cargo space to 74.9 cubic feet. The AMG GLE 63 S allows you to add a third row of seating for a total passenger count of six.

Sleek leather seats, spacious consoles, and all of the latest technology including 12.3-inch infotainment display screens make the GLE one fine-looking SUV. Additional packages, like massaging front seats and heated cup holders, are available for each trim level.
